Tuong Tony Huu Pham, born in 1973, is an American attorney and former Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from August 25, 2020 to December 31, 2020. Pham and his family emigrated from Saigon to the United States in 1975, and he obtained U.S. citizenship in 1985. He attended William & Mary Law School, graduating in 1995, and later received a law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1999. Pham began his career as a prosecutor and received accolades from the Old Dominion Bar Association and Style Weekly. Prior to his role in ICE, he served as the superintendent for the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail, implementing successful programs such as addiction recovery, ankle monitoring, and tablet introductions. Pham resigned from his position as ICE Director at the end of 2020.
