Tony Shalhoub

Anthony Marc Shalhoub is an American actor known for his performances on stage and screen. Born on October 9, 1953, Shalhoub has received numerous accolades including five Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, six Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Tony Award. He gained recognition for his role as Antonio Scarpacci on the sitcom Wings from 1991 to 1997. Shalhoub's most notable role was as Adrian Monk in the USA Network series Monk from 2002 to 2009, earning him three Primetime Emmy Awards. He also won a Primetime Emmy Award for his supporting role as Abe Weissman on Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Shalhoub has had a successful film career and appeared in movies such as Quick Change, Barton Fink, Men in Black, and Galaxy Quest.
