Tony Xu

Tony Xu, born Xu Xun in 1983/1984, is a Chinese-American billionaire businessman and the CEO of DoorDash. He immigrated to the United States at the age of four with his parents, who settled in Champaign, Illinois. Xu holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. With a background that includes internships at Square, Inc. and work experience at McKinsey & Company, eBay, and PayPal, Xu co-founded DoorDash. The company went public in December 2020, elevating Xu's net worth to an estimated $2.8 billion as of April 2021. Tony Xu and his wife Patti are signatories of the Giving Pledge.
