Tori Kelly

Victoria Loren Kelly, known professionally as Tori Kelly, is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Born on December 14, 1992, she gained initial recognition by posting videos on YouTube during her teenage years. In 2010, she participated in the ninth season of American Idol and reached Hollywood week. Kelly released her self-produced debut EP, Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly, independently in 2012. Later, she signed with Capitol Records after being managed by Scooter Braun. Her first major-label release, the EP Foreword, came out in 2013. Kelly's debut studio album, Unbreakable Smile (2015), peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. She was nominated for Best New Artist at the 58th Grammy Awards. Kelly has also showcased her talent as an actress, having voiced the character Meena in the films Sing (2016) and Sing 2 (2021). Her second studio album, Hiding Place (2018), reached number 35 on the Billboard 200 chart.
