Torri Higginson

Torri Higginson is a Canadian actress, born on December 6, 1969, in Burlington, Ontario. She gained recognition for her roles in the TekWar movies and series, as well as for her portrayal of Dr. Elizabeth Weir in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis (2004–2008). Higginson also played Dr. Jordan Hampton in NCIS (2007–2009) and Commander Delaney Truffault in Dark Matter (2015–2017). She studied acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, United Kingdom. Higginson has also been active in theatre, appearing in productions such as Three Tall Women, Weldon Rising, and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Notably, she starred in the movie Jungleground alongside other actors from the Stargate franchise before joining the series.
