Tracey Gold (born May 16, 1969) is an American actress and former child star known for her role as Carol Seaver on the 1980s sitcom Growing Pains. She began her acting career at the age of four, appearing in a Pepsi print ad. Gold has appeared in various television shows, including Shirley (1979) and Goodnight Beantown (1983), as well as guest-starring on her sister Missy Gold's series Benson (1985). She also had a role in the feature film Shoot the Moon (1982). In 1985, Gold auditioned for the role of Carol Seaver and eventually joined the cast of Growing Pains, where she gained recognition for her portrayal of the character.
