Tracey Walter (born November 25, 1947) is an American retired character actor known for his portrayal of 'sidekicks' and 'henchmen' in more than 170 films and television series. Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Walter attended St. Anthony's High School and played basketball. He has a son and daughter. Some of his notable roles include Bob the Goon in Batman, Cookie in City Slickers, and Malak in Conan the Destroyer. Walter has appeared in six Jonathan Demme films, including The Silence of the Lambs, and has been directed by Danny DeVito in three films. He has also acted with and been directed by Jack Nicholson in The Two Jakes.
