Tracy Pollan

Tracy Jo Pollan is an American actress known for her role as Ellen Reed on the sitcom Family Ties (1985-1987). Born on June 22, 1960, in Long Island, New York, she was raised in Woodbury. Pollan comes from a Jewish family and attended Syosset High School and the Dalton School in Manhattan. She further honed her acting skills at the Herbert Berghof Studio and the Lee Strasberg Institute. Pollan's personal life includes a five-year relationship with actor Kevin Bacon in the 1980s. She later married actor Michael J. Fox on July 16, 1988, and they have four children together. Tracy Pollan continues to be involved in the entertainment industry and remains a respected figure in film and television.
