Travis William Tedford is an American former actor born on August 19, 1988. He rose to fame in the 1990s as a child actor, best known for his role as Spanky McFarland in the 1994 film The Little Rascals. At the age of six, he became the first Welch's 'advertising-spokeskid' in 1994. Tedford was born in Rockwall, Texas, to Timmy Bill Tedford and Paula Kay Dixon. He attended Athens High School and graduated in 2006, later earning an Associates degree in Liberal Arts from Trinity Valley Community College in 2008. In 1995, he received the Young Artist Award for his performance in The Little Rascals.
