Tresa Hughes (September 17, 1929 – July 24, 2011) was an American stage, film, and television actress. She is best known for her Tony-nominated role in The Devil's Advocate in 1961. Hughes had a successful career that spanned over 30 years on Broadway, with notable performances in The Miracle Worker, Dear Me, the Sky is Falling, and The Prisoner of Second Avenue. Her film and television credits include Don Juan DeMarco, Fame, and Another World. Hughes was born in Washington, D.C., and attended various universities before graduating from Wayne State University. She passed away on July 24, 2011.
