Trevante Rhodes

Trevante Nemour Rhodes (born February 10, 1990) is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition in 2016 for his performance as Chiron in the Academy Award-winning film Moonlight. Since then, he has appeared in notable films such as The Predator (2018), Bird Box (2018), and The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Prior to his acting career, Rhodes was a successful track and field sprinter, winning a gold medal at the Pan American Junior Athletics Championships in 2009. Born in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Rhodes later moved to Little Elm, Texas. He attended Little Elm High School, where he excelled in both football and track and field.
