Trevor Von Eeden (born July 24, 1959) is a Guyanese-American comics artist, actor, and writer known for his work on titles such as Black Lightning, Batman, Green Arrow, Power Man and Iron Fist, and the biographical series The Original Johnson. Born in Guyana, Von Eeden moved to New York City at the age of 11. He started drawing in his early teens to alleviate the boredom of junior high school and was introduced to comics by his best friend, Al Simonson. Von Eeden's influences include Neal Adams, John Buscema, and Curt Swan. He began his comic book career at age 16, working on prototype assignments for DC Comics under editor Jack C. Harris.
