Tristan Gemmill (born June 6, 1967) is a British actor known for his roles in various TV shows. He gained recognition for playing Dr Adam Trueman on Casualty and Robert Preston in Coronation Street. Gemmill attended Holmewood House School and later received an Academic Scholarship to Tonbridge School. Throughout his career, he has appeared in shows like Family Affairs, Where the Heart Is, Grass, Strictly Confidential, and EastEnders. Gemmill also had a minor role as an actor in Lynda La Plante's Trial & Retribution. In 2000, he appeared in Coronation Street as a therapist, and in 2001, he portrayed corrupt Detective Sergeant Peter Cork in six episodes of The Bill.
