Tucker Smallwood is an American actor, author, and vocalist, born on February 22, 1944. Before pursuing his acting career, Smallwood served in the United States Army Airborne Infantry from 1967 to 1970, where he was wounded in action during the Vietnam War. After recovering, he moved to New York City and studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Smallwood has appeared in numerous Broadway productions, films, and television shows. Some of his notable film credits include The Cotton Club (1984), Contact (1997), Deep Impact (1998), and Traffic (2000). On television, he has been a regular or guest-starred on series such as Space: Above and Beyond, Millennium, Babylon 5, The X-Files, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
