Tupac Shakur

Tupac Amaru Shakur, also known as 2Pac and Makaveli, was an influential American rapper. Born on June 16, 1971, in New York City, Shakur was raised by his mother, Afeni Shakur, who was a political activist and a member of the Black Panther Party. He gained recognition in the music industry with his debut album 2Pacalypse Now (1991), addressing social issues prevalent in inner cities. Shakur became a central figure in West Coast hip hop, achieving critical and commercial success with albums like Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... (1993) and Me Against the World (1995). With over 75 million records sold worldwide, Tupac Shakur is considered one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
