T.V. Carpio, born Teresa Victoria Carpio on April 5, 1981, is an American actress and singer. She rose to fame for her role as Prudence in the 2007 film Across the Universe, where she showcased her vocal talent by singing the Beatles song 'I Want to Hold Your Hand'. Carpio gained further recognition for her performances as Valerie in Limitless (2011) and Shelby Prince in The Client List (2013), a Lifetime television series. Additionally, she has made a name for herself in the theater world, starring as Arachne in the original Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (2011) and Eurydice in the Citadel Theatre production of Hadestown (2017). Born in Oklahoma City, Carpio has also collaborated with her mother, Hong Kong singer Teresa Carpio, on stage performances.
