Ty Barnett

Ty Barnett is an American actor and stand-up comic born in 1975. Hailing from the south side of Chicago, he attended high school there before serving in the United States Army for six years. In 2002, he was voted 'Up-and-coming Comedian of the Year' at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival, and in 2003, he made it to the semi-finals of CBS's Star Search. Barnett's major influences include Chris Rock and Richard Pryor. He has appeared on various television shows such as The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, P. Diddy Presents the Bad Boys of Comedy, and 'Til Death. Additionally, he was the runner-up on the NBC reality show Last Comic Standing in 2006. Barnett has also been featured on Comedy Central Presents and appeared in the film Stand Up.
