Ty Taylor

Ty Taylor (born January 5, 1969) is an American musician and actor. He gained recognition as the lead singer of the soul rock band Vintage Trouble. Taylor is known for his role as Lester Grimes in the HBO series Vinyl, created by Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger. He contributed two songs, 'Cha Cha Twist' and 'The World Is Yours,' to the 2016 soundtrack album Vinyl: Music from the HBO Original Series, Volume 1. Prior to his work with Vintage Trouble, Taylor was a guitarist and vocalist for the R&B group Dakota Moon. He also participated as a contestant on the reality TV show Rock Star: INXS. Ty Taylor draws inspiration from gospel music and artists like Otis Redding, Tina Turner, and The Clash.
