Tye White is an American actor known for his roles in various television series. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and is of African American descent. White attended Brother Rice High School in Michigan and later studied at the University of Michigan. In 2014, he gained recognition for his role in the VH1 television film Drumline: A New Beat. He has also appeared in the CBS procedural series NCIS: Los Angeles as Aiden Hanna and in the FX series The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story as Jason Simpson. White's most notable role to date is as Kevin Satterlee in the Oprah Winfrey Network drama series Greenleaf. He played the husband of Charity Greenleaf-Satterlee and appeared as a series regular from 2015 to 2018.
