Tyler Hanes Biography
Tyler Hanes (born October 12, 1982) is an American actor, singer, dancer, and choreographer, best known for his work in Broadway musicals. Born in Jacksonville, Florida and raised in Marietta, Georgia, Hanes started dancing at the age of seven, influenced by his sisters. He attended Pebblebrook High School, The Cobb County Center for the Performing Arts, and Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Hanes was discovered by Ann Reinking during the Broadway Theater Project and was cast in the first national tour of the musical Fosse. He made his Broadway debut in the 2002 revival of Oklahoma! and went on to appear in several other Broadway productions including Urban Cowboy, The Boy From Oz, The Frogs, Sweet Charity, and the revival of A Chorus Line.
