Tyler James Williams

Tyler James Williams (born October 9, 1992) is an American actor known for his diverse roles in television and film. He began his career as a child actor, making appearances on popular shows like Saturday Night Live, Little Bill, and Sesame Street. Williams gained recognition and captured the hearts of audiences with his portrayal of Chris Rock on the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (2005–09). He further showcased his talent as songwriter Cyrus DeBarge in the Disney Channel film Let It Shine (2012) and as Noah on the AMC horror television series The Walking Dead (2014–15). Williams currently stars as Gregory Eddie on the acclaimed ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary. His notable film credits include Detroit (2017) and The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Born in Westchester County, New York, Williams grew up in Yonkers, New York.
