Tyler Ritter

Tyler Ritter is an American actor known for his role as Ronny McCarthy on the sitcom The McCarthys. He was born on January 31, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. Ritter comes from a family of actors, with his father being the late John Ritter and his brother being Jason Ritter. He is also the grandson of the country singer Tex Ritter. While initially not pursuing acting professionally after his father's death, Ritter eventually decided to follow in his family's footsteps. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and spent three years teaching in Argentina before returning to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career. Ritter has appeared in guest roles on shows like Modern Family and Grey's Anatomy before landing his breakout role on The McCarthys in 2014.
