Tyrees Allen

Tyrees Allen (born July 31, 1954) is an American actor known for his work on stage, television, and film. Born in Salina, Kansas, he graduated from Salina Central High School in 1972 and later earned a degree in Theater Arts from Marymount College. With over fifty-five television credits, Allen has held series regular roles on Women's Murder Club and Dark Blue, and has appeared in recurring and guest roles on popular shows such as The Practice, Alias, Cold Case, Without A Trace, Castle, Scandal, CSI:Miami, and Brothers & Sisters. He has also graced the Broadway stage in notable productions like Aida and William Shakespeare's Henry IV. Allen's talent and versatility have earned him accolades, including winning the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Actor for his role in Between Riverside and Crazy.
