Tzi Ma (born June 10, 1962) is a Hong Kong-American actor known for his appearances in numerous films and television shows. He has showcased his talent in notable TV series like The Man in the High Castle and 24, as well as blockbuster films such as Dante's Peak, Rush Hour franchise, Arrival, Mulan, and The Farewell. From 2021 to 2023, he starred in the American martial arts TV series, Kung Fu, aired on The CW. Born in Hong Kong, Ma moved to the United States with his family when he was five. Growing up in New York, he discovered his passion for acting through a role in an elementary school production of Annie Get Your Gun. Ma's deep appreciation for theater was greatly influenced by Mako's performance in Pacific Overtures in 1976.
