Uli Latukefu Biography
Uli Latukefu is an Australian actor and singer of Tongan descent. He is known for his roles as Dwayne Johnson in the NBC comedy Young Rock and Byamba in the Netflix series Marco Polo. Latukefu also appeared as Darren Ngata in the Australian series Doctor Doctor from 2017 to 2020. He has been featured in films such as Alien: Covenant and portrayed Father Matteo in the miniseries Devil's Playground. Latukefu gained recognition as a contestant on the reality singing competition Australian Idol in 2004. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and currently resides in Sydney. In 2022, Latukefu played The Champion in the DC Extended Universe film Black Adam.
