Ulrich Noethen

Ulrich Noethen (born 18 November 1959) is a German actor known for his roles in movies and TV films. He gained recognition for his performances in films like Comedian Harmonists and for portraying Heinrich Himmler in Der Untergang and Mein Führer – Die wirklich wahrste Wahrheit über Adolf Hitler. Noethen has received several awards for his acting, including the German Film Award, the Bavarian Film Award, the Adolf Grimme Award, and the Golden Camera. Born into a clergyman's family, he grew up as the youngest of five children. After studying law briefly, he pursued acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Noethen is married to actress Friederike Wagner.
