Ulrike Folkerts

Ulrike Folkerts (born May 14, 1961) is a German actress known for her role as police officer Lena Odenthal in the popular German crime television series Tatort. Born in Kassel, Hesse, Germany, Folkerts has also made notable stage appearances, including being the first woman to play Death in Jedermann at the Salzburg Festival in 2005 and 2006. In addition to her acting career, Folkerts is openly lesbian and has been involved in sports, winning medals at the Gay Games 2002 in Sydney and the EuroGames in 2004. She has also written two books, including her autobiography and a joint book with her partner.
