Ursula Howells (17 September 1922 – 16 October 2005) was an English actress known for her elegant presence on screen. Born in London, she was the daughter of composer Herbert Howells and attended St Paul's Girls' School. Howells made her stage debut in 1939 and later appeared in various productions in the West End and on Broadway. Her film career began in the 1950s, and she went on to appear in notable movies and television shows. In addition to her acting career, Howells was passionate about promoting her father's work and established the Herbert Howells Society in 1987 to support his compositions.
