Valentin Atanassov Ganev (Валентин Атанасов Ганев) is a Bulgarian theatre and film actor and theatre director. He was born on April 7, 1956, in Ruse, Bulgaria. Ganev graduated from the All Russian State Institute for Cinematography in Moscow, where he studied in the actor's classes of Sergey Bondarchuk. He has appeared in various films such as East/West (Est-Ouest) (1999), Icon (2005), Hushove (2006), The Abandoned (2006), The Prince & Me 3: A Royal Honeymoon (2008), The Way Back (2010), and J'étais à Nüremberg (2010). Ganev is also an active stage actor and has been a member of The National Theatre of Bulgaria since 1996.
