Valentina Cervi

Valentina Cervi (born April 13, 1976) is an Italian film and television actress. Born in Rome, Italy, she comes from a family with a strong background in the entertainment industry. Her father is director Tonino Cervi and her grandfather is actor Gino Cervi. Cervi began her acting career at the age of ten in the film 'Portami la luna' directed by Carlo Cotti. She gained international recognition for her role in Jane Campion's 'The Portrait of a Lady' in 1996. One of her notable performances was in the 1997 film 'Artemisia'. Cervi has also appeared in television series such as BBC TV's 'Zen' and Canale 5's 'Distretto di Polizia'.
