Valerie Azlynn (born November 25, 1980) is an American actress known for her roles in television shows and movies. She gained recognition for her starring role in the TV comedy Sullivan & Son. Azlynn was born as Valerie Asselin in New London, Connecticut. She attended The Williams School and Waterford High School. At the age of 13, she underwent open-heart surgery to repair an atrial septal defect. This life-changing experience led her to become the national spokesperson for Mended Little Hearts non-profit organization in 2013. Azlynn moved to New York City at 17 and studied acting at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. She has since built a successful career in the entertainment industry.
