Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri Bottas is a Finnish racing driver currently competing in Formula One for Alfa Romeo. He was born on August 28, 1989. Bottas has had a successful career in motorsports, starting in karting and advancing to single-seater championships such as the Formula Renault UK Winter Series and Formula Renault Eurocup. In 2008, he won the Formula Renault Northern European Cup. He then moved up to the Formula 3 Euroseries, finishing third in the championship and winning the Masters of Formula 3 event. Bottas was hired as a test driver for the Williams Formula One team in 2010 and later became a race driver for the team. He scored race wins and podium finishes, contributing to five constructors championship wins for Mercedes. Bottas has been a drivers' championship runner-up twice.
