Veanne Cox

Veanne Cox is an Emmy and Tony-nominated American stage and screen actress, born on January 19, 1963, in Norfolk, Virginia. She began her career as a ballet dancer and later studied acting at the Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C. and voice at Catholic University of America. Cox made her Broadway debut in the musical Smile in 1986 and garnered critical acclaim for her performance in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company in 1995, earning a Tony Award nomination. She has also appeared in productions like Caroline, or Change (2004). Cox has showcased her talents on screen, starring in the made-for-television movie Cinderella (1997) and featuring in films like Erin Brockovich (2000). Additionally, she has made appearances in popular TV shows such as Seinfeld.
