Venida Evans

Venida Evans is an American television, film, stage, and commercial actress. She is best known for her role as 'The Muse' in a series of IKEA television commercials in the United States. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan and raised in Detroit, Evans graduated from Southwestern High School before attending Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee. She also served as an enlisted member of the United States Air Force. Evans moved to New York City in 1972 to pursue her acting career, working as a theater usher on Broadway to support herself. She began acting full-time in 1999 and has since appeared in numerous TV shows and movies.
