Venus D-Lite Biography
Venus D-Lite, born Adam Daniel Guerra on September 5, 1983, is an American drag performer, television personality, and Madonna impersonator. He gained recognition for his appearance on the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race and went viral with his appearance on the My Strange Addiction episode called 'Addicted To Being Madonna' in 2015. Raised in Rosemead, California, Guerra attended San Gabriel High School and Orange Coast College, majoring in business. He briefly pursued a degree in film from Los Angeles Community College before dropping out to focus on his drag career. Guerra began performing as D-Lite, a Marilyn Monroe impersonation, in 2002 and made his television debut on The Ricki Lake Show in 2003. His drag name, Venus D-Lite, was inspired by the song 'Venus Was Her Name' by Shocking Blue and a name suggested by his then-boyfriend and makeup artist.
