Vera Wang

Vera Ellen Wang (born June 27, 1949) is an American fashion designer known for her bridal gown designs. Born in New York City to Chinese immigrant parents, Wang initially pursued a career in figure skating before transitioning to fashion. She worked for Vogue and Ralph Lauren before opening her own bridal boutique in 1990. Wang gained international recognition for her elegant wedding dress designs, which have been worn by numerous celebrities.
