Verity Rushworth

Verity Charlotte Rushworth (born August 15, 1985) is an English actress known for her role as Donna Windsor in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale from 1998 to 2009, with a guest appearance in 2014. She attended St. Mary's Catholic High School, Menston. Rushworth has also performed in various theatre productions throughout the UK, including two leading roles in West End productions. In 2020 to 2021, she appeared in the BBC medical soap opera Doctors as Lily Walker. Rushworth began her acting career with small roles in ITV television programmes like Heartbeat before landing her breakthrough role on Emmerdale at the age of 12. She made her West End debut in 2009 in the role of Penny Pingleton in Hairspray.
