Verne Troyer Biography
Verne Jay Troyer (January 1, 1969 – April 21, 2018) was an American actor known for his role as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers film series. Born in Sturgis, Michigan, Troyer had cartilage–hair hypoplasia and stood at 2 ft tall. He was the son of Susan, a factory worker, and Reuben Troyer, a repair technician. Raised Amish initially, his parents left the faith during his childhood. Troyer graduated from Centreville High School in 1987. His film career started when he was recruited as a stunt double for the character 'Baby Bink' in the movie Baby's Day Out. He went on to portray Mini-Me and appeared in various other films and TV shows throughout his career.
