Vico Ortiz

Vico Ortiz is a Puerto Rican actor, drag king, and activist. Born on October 10, 1991, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ortiz is best known for their role as Jim in the HBO Max television series Our Flag Means Death. They received their education at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Ortiz began their acting career in 2011, starring in the short film Oprah's Audience Moves On, and went on to have various roles in other shorts and TV shows. In recent years, Ortiz has advocated for gender inclusivity in their roles, including suggesting non-binary representation for their characters. They also starred in the queer web series Recon in 2018.
