Victoria Clark (born October 10, 1959) is an American actress, musical theatre singer, and director. With a career spanning both Broadway and other theatre, film, and television works, Clark has established herself as a versatile talent. She is known for her soprano voice, which can be heard on various cast albums and animated films. In 2005, she won her first Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical for her performance in The Light in the Piazza. Clark has received a total of five Tony Award nominations. She released her debut solo album, Fifteen Seconds of Grace, in 2008. Clark was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and attended the prestigious Hockaday School before pursuing her education at Yale University.
