Victoria Hamilton

Victoria Hamilton (born 5 April 1971) is an English actress known for her work in classical theatre and costume dramas. After training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, she began her career with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. Hamilton made her Broadway debut in 2003 and received a Tony Award nomination. She has appeared in various Jane Austen adaptations, including Pride and Prejudice (1995), Persuasion (1995), and Mansfield Park (1999). Hamilton also portrayed Queen Victoria in the 2001 television production Victoria & Albert. Her notable stage performances include A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (2002) and Suddenly, Last Summer (2004), for which she received critical acclaim and awards.
