Victoria Mahoney

Victoria Mahoney is an American actress and filmmaker. She made her feature directing debut in 2011 with the semi-autobiographical film Yelling to the Sky, which premiered at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival. The film, starring Zoe Kravitz and Jason Clarke, follows a young girl's struggles in high school and her difficult home life. Mahoney developed the script through the Sundance Institute Labs and has received numerous fellowships for her work. She is recognized as the first woman director/writer in over sixty years to be invited to the Golden Bear competition at the Berlin International Film Festival.
