Vilma Hollingbery

Vilma Jean Napier Brown, professionally known as Vilma Hollingbery, was a British character actress. Born on July 21, 1932, she had a career that spanned over sixty years. Hollingbery appeared in various television programmes and films, showcasing her talent and versatility. She is best known for her role as Claudia Wren in Psychoville and her appearances in A Touch of Frost, Babylon, Doctor Who, and The Bill, where she portrayed different characters. Additionally, she portrayed Barbara in the TV series Motherland. Hollingbery was married to actor and director Michael Napier Brown, with whom she had a daughter who also pursued acting. Vilma Hollingbery passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 89.
