Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel, born Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, is an American actor and film producer. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of Dominic Toretto in the highly successful Fast & Furious franchise. Diesel's career initially faced challenges, but his breakthrough came with the short film Multi-Facial (1995) and his directorial debut Strays (1997). Steven Spielberg noticed his talent and cast him in Saving Private Ryan (1998). He also voiced the character of the Iron Giant in the film of the same name (1999). Diesel has become known for his action roles, starring in the Fast & Furious, XXX, and The Chronicles of Riddick franchises. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Diesel voices the character Groot in multiple films, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014). He has also reprised his role for the Disney+ animated shorts series I Am Groot (2022–present).
