Viola Harris Biography
Viola Harris (July 5, 1920 – August 23, 2017) was an American actress known for her work in television, theater, and film from the 1950s to the 2010s. She appeared in various notable films including Woody Allen's Deconstructing Harry (1997), Choke (2008), The Other Guys (2010), and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Harris received positive reviews for her role in the short film The Secret Friend (2010), directed by Flavio Alves. She was also active in summer stock theater and worked as a standby for the Broadway production of Zelda (1969). Harris was married to actor Robert H. Harris until his death in 1981 and had one son, Steven Lee. She passed away on August 23, 2017, at the age of 97.
