Violet Chachki

Violet Chachki, born Paul Jason Dardo on June 13, 1992, is an American drag queen, burlesque/aerial performer, content creator, model, and recording artist. Known for winning the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, Chachki is recognized for their genderfluid identity and uses she/her and they/them pronouns. Starting drag at 19, Chachki took inspiration from Jennifer Tilly's character in the film Bound for their name, while 'Chachki' is derived from the Yiddish word 'tchotchke.' Chachki's drag career began at LeBuzz in Marietta, Georgia, and they went on to win Miss New Faces at Friends on Ponce in Atlanta. They were mentored by drag queens Dax Exclamationpoint and Genre Monster. Chachki also attended the Savannah College of Art and Design.
