Virginia Gregg Biography
Virginia Lee Gregg (March 6, 1916 – September 15, 1986) was an American actress known for her many roles in radio dramas and television series. Born in Harrisburg, Illinois, she moved to Pasadena, California at a young age. Gregg attended Jefferson High School, Pasadena Junior College, and Pacific Academy of Dramatic Art. Prior to her acting career, she played the double bass with the Pasadena Symphony and Pops. Gregg was a prolific radio actress, appearing in programs such as The Adventures of Sam Spade, Dragnet, Gunsmoke, and The Jack Benny Program. She also made television appearances in various shows throughout her career.
