Virginia Vale (born Dorothy Howe, May 20, 1920 – September 14, 2006) was an American film actress known for her roles in B-movie westerns. She gained recognition for her performance as a race car driver in the film Blonde Comet (1941). Before her acting career, Vale worked as a switchboard operator in Dallas, Texas. She began honing her acting skills in local theater productions before being discovered by a representative from Paramount Pictures. She signed a contract with Paramount and appeared in several feature films, including The Big Broadcast of 1938. Vale's career spanned from the 1930s to the 1940s, and she made significant contributions to the film industry during that time.
