Vittorio Duse
Vittorio Duse (21 March 1916 – 2 June 2005) was an Italian actor, screenwriter, and film director. He gained recognition for his role as Don Tommasino in The Godfather Part III (1990), replacing Corrado Gaipa. Duse's career started with a role in Luchino Visconti's Ossessione (1942). He appeared in various Italian films and also made appearances in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, The Sopranos, and When in Rome. In 1989, Duse won the Jury Distinction Award at the Montréal World Film Festival for his performance in Queen of Hearts. He passed away at the age of 89. Some of his notable works include Il cavaliere senza nome (1941) and Giarabub (1942).
