Viveca Lindfors

Elsa Viveca Torstensdotter Lindfors (December 29, 1920 – October 25, 1995) was a Swedish American stage, film, and television actress. Lindfors was born in Uppsala, Sweden to Karin Emilia Therese and Axel Torsten Lindfors. She trained at the Royal Dramatic Training Academy in Stockholm and became a theater and film star in Sweden. In 1946, Lindfors moved to the United States after being signed by Warner Bros. She appeared in over 100 films, including Night Unto Night, No Sad Songs for Me, Dark City, King of Kings, and Creepshow. Lindfors also appeared on Broadway and won an Emmy Award and a Silver Bear for Best Actress.
